Working on the Project

Today is April 28, 2011 and most of my day was comprised of working towards my WISE Project. I signed up for my days that I will watch other presenters as well as start my outline for my WISE Project.

I believe I will open up with talking about my influence on the Jake Miller Music "organization" and say how much i have helped throughout the year and begin to show what I have done by showing the videos i have produced and the influence i have had with the use of YouTube and Facebook.

The next part will be a short speech by Jake saying how much we have done this year. There is still more to come and I have only started, I hope to be done by next wednesday and edit it all the last week.

Cannot wait to present, it is going to be fun.

WISE Project

Today is April 27, 2011 and i have made adequate progress on my WISE Project. I have formulated it around the idea of the fictitious company of "WildWood Productions" and the actual "company" of Jake Miller Music. Jake Miller Music has become a name in Weston that most people have been hearing about. The name of Jake Miller have been on YouTube videos (created by me), posters, flyers, and much more. But, it is all revolving around the idea of our dream to have WildWood Productions to be a real production company.

My good friend Randy Cohen has already made the WildWood Productions logo for Jake and I and it will be unveiled at the WISE Presentation. We also have a T-Shirt design designed by Retina to show off Jake's artistic ability and a logo to symbolize the Jake Miller name. This shirt will also be unveiled to the public at my WISE Presentation.

Another piece that will be shown is www.jakemillermusic.com which is the direct source to all things Jake Miller Music. This is a phenomenal website and very user-friendly. Jake Miller started from the bottom and has now risen to the top through these advertising methods. We will also be discussing what his past, present, and future is like and this WISE Project will be one to remember.

T-Mobile

Today is April 26, 2011 and today we had the T-Mobile Sidekick 4G kickoff concert for Jake Miller. Around 60 or so T-Mobile representatives were present to get their hands on the brand new Sidekick 4G and also to see Jake Miller preform.

Jake Miller was presented at the beginning of the event when he came out with his band to preform his single "Sit Back & Relax". After that, he came out to preform his single "Dreamin" which has over 30,000 hits on YouTube, and then he also came out to preform his newest hit "Fast Lane" and finished with an encore of "On My Way".

These T-Mobile sponsors were surely impressed with the work Jake put on while preforming, and they were also impressed with the product that Jake is behind. The brand new Sidekick 4G is unlike any other phone I have ever seen. It seems like it is 4 phones into one and the power and speed of it is unimaginable.

This week we will begin to edit the footage shot at this event and for three months I was able to walk away with free service to the brand new Sidekick 4G to promote Jake's music as a member of his "Street Team"

This is going to be a fun week.

BTN

BECON Television stands for Broward Education Communication Network, and is the educational channel through Broward County in South Florida. BECON-TV has multiple shows ranging from Sports, called Sports Blitz, to student created features, called Broward Teen News. BTN is lead by Jeb Brunt, a very close friend to Kurt Doster (CBTV's Advisor), who was also the teacher and advisor to Cooper City Television; CTV.

Each semester they have two shows and one in the summer. Luckily for me, my skills have gotten me better in the TV Production world in the eyes of Mr. Brunt and Mr. Doster. These advancements in TV Production have gotten me a slot in the last BTN show of the year. Of course, I will be doing it on Jake Miller and his progression throughout the year.

I will be using this 3-minute feature during my WISE Project to show the audience what Jake has done throughout the year and not just use the Music Videos to show what he has done. There is more to Jake than meets the eye and this feaute will show him off to the residents of Broward County.

This will not be my first experience with BECON TV. During my sophomore year i was given the opportunity to be on their sports show called Sports Blitz. I was the head anchor to the show and it has helped me in my on-screen personality.

Both my Sports Blitz show and the BTN segment will help me during my WISE Project on May 11, 2011.

Move Back Mac

"Aye lace them up, lace them up, lace them up, lace them
Blue suede shoes stay crispy like bacon
Nikes on my feet make my cipher complete
Uh, I stay shining like the lights on the street in the night
Revis take me shopping when I'm up in New York
Hit the shoe store, go and cop a few more
You at the mall getting dinner at the food court
I'm at LA eating 22 course
Young boss b**** paper in my pockets
I got a closet filled with shoe boxes
Mom says my spending habit a little bit obnoxious
But a pilot stay fresh up in his cockpit
Used to rock hand me downs
Now I buy some clothes, wear them out
Hit the club bitches pull they cameras out
Living in a dream they beginning to believe
My hotel smell like cigarettes and weed"

One of the most fascinating and up-and-coming rappers to date is named Mac Miller. He has already made a total of 5 mixtapes and has been heard from around the world. His videos have inspired me to make Jake's videos and it has really shown me that someone can get famous by music videos. Never in the history of Jake and I's friendship and partnership have we thought about the opportunity to open for Mac Miller. Luckily for us, we will be on May 14th. This is going to be one of the biggest shows thus far. If this goes well, the odds that Mac and Jake will stay close are pretty high, because Mac relates to us. He is only 19 years old and when Jake and I meet him backstage, we will talk about his success. I am too excited for this opportunity.

-Noah Mindel

T-Mobile

Jake Miller has now taken one step further to accomplishing his dream. The videos that I have produced have been shown to over 50,000 different computer screens across the world and it has really hit home. Jake and I together have really gotten attention from NBC, FOX, YouTube, and various artists.

Jake Miller has now gotten attention from a unexpected source. T-Mobile has reached out to Jake to promote their new product, the brand new 4G Sidekick. T-Mobile will be giving Jake 10 brand new 4G Sidekicks to hand out to Jake's contest winners. Yes... contest winners. We are not clear on what contests Jake will be having but Jake's viewers will be able to post videos about Jake and if they are good, they win a Sidekick. This will not only help Jake, but also help T-Mobile.

Another catch that they have told Jake is that he will have to use product placement to show off the new phone. And the best way to do that is to incorporate it in the next music video, shot by me. Fast Lane will now have the new 4G Sidekick in it at some point. We are both excited to begin this sponsorship.

RiddleMeDat

On Friday April 1st, Jake alongside five of our closest friends and 15 other random people form South Florida met up at the Platinum Gold Bar/Bat Mitzvah studio to film the newest video called "RiddleMeDat". What happened was that not enough people came, and I (the cameraman) had to make it look like there were 115 people there. That makes my job a heck of a lot harder, and I had to make sure that I did not shoot the video above Jake's head because you would see the openness.

This is where having a background in Television Production comes in handy. I have been in TV Production courses for two years now and it gave me the "third eye" and I saw the creative aspects I could use. This video challenged me physically and also mentally. We were both not happy with the footage and the video itself, so we have put this video in the backseat for a while until we are ready to complete it.

This is a good experience for me, because just because I made a video, doesnt mean it is going to be the best. But knowing when to stop and try a different angle is a great aspect to know because my name is valuable and if I put it on a video that is not good, it is destroying my name as a producer.

This experience is going to get me far in life, and I hope soon that I will finish this video and be proud of what I make.

RiddleMeDat

Jake's brand new song "RiddleMeDat" is now one of the most requested songs by YouTube viewers for a Music Video. Even though Jake does not enjoy the song, we still need to make a video for publicity. Now comes the time where we choose if the video is at a club scene or its just another Jake Miller video with an urban feel.

Since its purpose was for a "club" atmosphere, it would only be right to do it at a club. So Jake's parents book the Platinum Gold area for April 1st. We will be shooting the brand new video with all of our friends and even some adults Jake's parents are friends with. Sadly, my parents will be there.

Its going to start to get harder and harder to make music videos, because my schedule is jammed packed, but soon I will probably be quitting work and Jak'es dad will be paying me for the videos. It feels good to be paid when you love doing what you are doing.

On My Way

So back on the track of Jake Miller and his music videos, I have completed his third one the day after i got home from the STN trip. This one, we did not just ride around Weston, or have all of our friends in it, we took the road less traveled and went to Fort Lauderdale beach and the airport to shoot his new video

We also incorporated his concert footage with Snoop Dogg and in the video we showed him "getting ready" for the concert and him getting on stage singing this song.

If you would like to watch it, please go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLL3BHB9vo8

STN Awards

From our Student Television Network National Competition convention, CBTV came home with a few awards. For the first time ever, a sports broadcasting competition was involved and CBTV's very own Josh Appel entered with high hopes. He came out with second place and will forever be known as the first person to place in an individual competition at STN.

We also entered the Spot Feature devision, and we came out victorious with a 5h place finish. Rebecca Sadek and Tyler Fingert were another winner in the CBTV group.

Now it was my turn for my individual awards. Me alongside Max Gillies, Franchesca, and Arianna were holding hands waiting for our results. The person came on the microphone and said that we got fourth place. We jumped out of our seats and cheered and so did the rest of our school. We did not just win it for us, but CBTV as well.

After my individual competition, it was time to hear the results for our team competition. We, as Cypress Bay High School Television in Weston, Florida are a school that no one can compare to. We are the only school in America that has placed an astounding three times in a row in the same competition. Two years ago we won second, last year we won third and this year... we won THIRD!!! It is an amazing feeling to win and im glad i got to do it twice this year.

Week before Spring Break 3

Now that the Sweet 16 was over with, it was now time for our individual competition. I alongside Max Gillies, Ariana Lipkin, and Franchesca Baltzer , entered a very difficult competition called Documentary Short. After the day in which we were up competing for 16 hours straight, our group was bound for another long day in which we had to compete for 10 more hours straight. But, we were able to find our story just seconds into the competition. We were able to find the Student Television Network Student of the Year for 2010 and he had a very interesting story.

Noah Gray was picked for the Student Television Network Student of the Year, not because of chance. He was picked because he is really one of the best students across America for TV Broadcasting and Production. Noah Gray was chosen to be the CNN Youth Correspondent for the 2008 Election because of two documentaries he has made to show why voting is important. Noah Gray created a 15-minute documentary called "Virgin Voting" that has received National recognition. We worked on this story for 9 hours, 59 minutes and 35 seconds. And if you could tell, we passed in our video with only 25 seconds to spare. If it was any later than 25 seconds, we would be disqualified.

Now that all of our videos are done, we just have to wait for the results.

-Noah Mindel

Week Before Spring Break 2

Today is competition day for the Sweet 16, and we woke up at 5:30 in the morning to be out the door by 6:45. We needed to get all the equipment ready to use and it was my job to monitor everyone in their editing, shooting, and brainstorming as well as produce my own segment for the show. We were all assigned at least one partner for each segment. My partner was a very skilled cameraman, Phil Goldstein and we were able to find a man who came from North Dakota to attend a technology convention across the street at another popular Orlando hotel.

The convention was called the NRECA, National Rural Electric Corporation Association, and it brought people from all over the United States in order to work together to make a better technology world, and live in the new age of technology and help with the environment. We were actually pushed aside from entering the convention floor, because people pay over $1000 to enter there, and it seemed unfair to let two teenage boys in to film footage. But Noah worked his magic and was able to get two free passes to the convention floor and it took us 5 hours to produce this 2:30 minute feature. At the end of the day Cypress Bay Television was proud of the work and what we had created. We passed in a show length of 16 minutes and we were hopeful of getting first place.

-Noah Mindel

Week Before Spring Break 1

This week I will not be working directly on the Music Videos for Jake Miller because of a very specific and important reason. If you have not noticed, I am vey involved with CBTV within school and this week (March 7-12) I will be in Orlando, Florida for a national convention. The Student Television Network is a large organization with over 900 schools across the United States that come together and stay connected throughout the year so teachers can  keep in touch and work together to create a better system for their students.
Last year we went to Anaheim, California in mid March for this same conference and we were unsuccessful in the individual aspect of the competition. Luckily, as a school, Cypress Bay took 3rd place in the nation in a competition called the Sweet-16. Hopefully, this year we will be even more successful in the team competition and hopefully we can also snag some individual awards as well.

From March 7-12, I alongside CBTV will be attending the National Television Production Competition in Orlando, Florida looking to take home gold in all of our events. The first event when we get there is the most important, the "Sweet 16". This event is a 16-hour competition where the judges give us one word and we need to produce a 16-minute show based on that one word. The next day is our individual competition where I am competing in a 10-hour competition called short documentary.

Hopefully CBTV will take home gold and huge trophies to put in our resume.

SNOOOOOOOOOOPPPPPPP

So the other day before the photo shoot for "RiddleMeDat" and "On My Way", Jake and I were talking and he brought up the possibility that he may have his first concert appearance next week. And it is not your average show. This show is going to be with none other than the hip hop legend superstar, Snoop Dogg.

Jake Miller will be opening up for Snoop Dogg on Friday March 11, 2011 at Club Cinema in Pompano, Florida. Jake has been preparing all week because it is going to be his first time appearing on stage in front of a legit crowd. Jake has also been in contact for the promoter of Chris Webby, an underground rap artist who is from the Northeast. Jake may be able to go to the show and open for Webby on Friday March 19, 2011 at Club Cinema and also the next day in Orlando, Florida at a club called Scoops.

But, one of the biggest concerts to hit South Florida, featuring Mac Miller and Wiz Khalifa Jake Miller may have the opportunity to open up for them. This is a big milestone for Jake because he has looked up to these two rappers since they started two years ago. He and I may have the possibility to traveling with them over the summer in their 20 city tour. That would be a once in a lifetime opportunity for both of us and we really hope it could get worked out.

Next week I will be in Orlando for a Tv Production Competition and hopefully we can come back with some National titles.

PHOTOSHOOT

Yesterday was a very hectic day for me. I left my house at 7:10AM and went to school. During forth hour I worked on stuff in TV Production, and also went to the gym. After school, I had a CBTV General Meeting and an Officer Meeting which lasted until 4:55PM. From there, I left school to meet Jake at his house for his next photo shoot for his song "RiddleMeDat" and "On My Way". I did not leave his house until roughly 9:15PM, and it was the first time i stepped in my door all day.
At the photo shoot, I filmed the entire thing so we could use it and put it on youtube for his viewers and fans to see. We also got very big news, but will not tell you until tomorrow because it has the ability to become a 3 paragraph blog. We are very excited for the upcoming two weeks, and sooner than later, the name "Jake Miller" will be known worldwide.

End of Week 5

Today is February 28, 2011 and last night was the release of Jake Miller's new song, "RiddleMeDat". This song took Jake out of his comfort zone and put him in a new light. The age of music has changed, and if you ant to be a big artist in the rap industry, your songs need to be played where teens and young adults are; clubs. The song, "RiddleMeDat" is just that, a club song, this song is very fast paced and has a loud bass in the background, making it a "club song".

Tomorrow at 5:00PM is the photo-shoot for his two songs, "On My Way" and "RiddleMeDat" and we will be sitting down with his two managers Fred and Dre plotting ou the next two music videos. We are all really excited because we feel after these two videos, Jake Miller will be offered a record label by Sony. Who knows, hopefully by next year I will not be rooming with Jake Miller, I will be rooming with Jake Miller "The Rapper" at Florida State.
Tomorrow should go well.

On My Way

Jake Miller's new song "On My Way" has become one that is to be remembered for the next few months. Especially because he is getting recognized by one of the four major record companies... you may have heard of it. I think it is spelled S-O-N-Y. Yes, Sony records has been looking at Jake Miller and he is trying to get a record deal with them. The hook of the song has also caught the attention of club DJs and they actually mixed the song "On My Way" and people danced to it.

This is a great thing for Jake and I because now we are being watched. We need to really start working on the next music video, but with my busy schedule it's hard to really sit down and film it. We have worked on where we would like to film the video. Next week is the week before my big national TV Production Competition in Orlando so I will be very busy then. Hopefully we get this done by the end of the week after spring break.

Visitors

Another day in WISE, and I have completed all of my work.
Today I went in to sign out for the day when Coach Love introduced me to one of his previous students that were apart of WISE. He is now at UCF and majoring in Communication Sciences. I think thats a great thing when I see previous students come in to talk to Coach Love. It shows that Coach Love put a meaning to his schooling. It shows that these kids really enjoyed the project and the class. Its sad that next year, Coach will no longer be here to talk about WISE. But now he has put that into our hands with the hand outs we give to incoming Seniors. Hopefully, this project will impact my life the same way it has impacted others and I will forever love this class and my project. This week I will be working on my third music video installment, Jake and I have decided that we want to go to a train station and get the video of trains coming in, i think that will put an urban spin on his videos. My video for "Dreamin'" has now gotten past 12,000 views. That is a huge milestone for me, and hopefully my next video would be even better.

Power 96

So this weekend, I went with Jake Miller and his father Bruce to the Power 96 radio station to sit down with the VP of Programming and try and get the song "Dreamin" on the radio. So we went up to the station and we sat down in a conference room with the head of Power 96 and just talked normally, not even about the song but what Jake Miller was all about. He made himself sound good and it seemed as though he impressed the guy. Then two seconds later, the VP of Programming came in and we talked about how songs actually get on the radio. It was surprising to me that approximately 20 songs get played over the radio.
He went on to talk about the categories that Power 96 has. Their is the "Power" category where only 5 TOP NOTCH songs are played. Those are usually the new Lil Wayne, Drake, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj type songs that everyone soon knows and loves. Then there is the step below, and the step below, and the step below. Jake Miller's song would be played in most likely the last step, roughly only once a day. But we are just looking for exposure so that is O.K. Then after he was done a common DJ, Big Raj, came into the meeting to actually talk about Jake's song. He said it is a great song but, "Is it a hit?" "Is it radio-friendly?" "Is it what people are looking for?" Those are al questions that need to be asked. He said the rapper Pitbull came into the same meeting day-after-day with nearly 79 hits that only one was played. So radio songs need to be chosen wisely.
After the meeting we went on a tour and went into the Power 96 DJ Booth with DJ Lucy Lopez, and she tore Jake a new one. The minute we walked in, she told Jake to rap on the spot. He froze, but then regained composure and rapped his song. She was mildly impressed and took a picture with him and told us to get the "F***" out of her booth (kidding of course). On the way home, she commented on Jakes Facebook and we asked her to give him a shoutout. Seconds later she talked about him and we went crazy. Hopefully Jake will be on the radio soon enough,

YouTube - Dreamin' Official Music Video - Jake Miller

Click there to see my new music video I made.

Today was a pretty interesting day, its not everyday that you get to witness a Deco Drive interview. Jake Miller was interviewed today by two guys from Deco Drive on WSVN Miami. Deco Drive is an evening night show on WSVN that focuses on music and entertainment and gets the word out about local events, and possibly artists. In this case they were helping the advertising of Jake Miller and his new song Dreamin. I filmed the interview and I am going to put it on his website, www.jakemillermusic.com. There was a point where I got some footage of Jake and it was a really cool shot, and the WSVN camera guy saw my shot and got the exact same thing, so I was really impressed by myself that i got the exact same thing but before he did.

Tomorrow is another crazy day where we go and sit down with the VP of Power 96 to get Jakes song on the radio. Look out for Jake Miller, he is getting BIG!

The Time Has Come

Jake Miller has gone into a new world. He has become such a new person after the last music video. As of February 16, 2011 at 2:17 PM the watch count for the music video "Dreamin'" is a total of 8,187 almost double the last two music videos he has had. Because of this music video, him and his manager have launched his own personal site at www.jakemillermusic.com and my music video is the first thing you see.

This week is going to be a great week for both of us because he is going to be featured on Deco Drive on WSVN Channel 7 News. They are going to be using footage from my two music videos I made him and he is going to get more and more publicity than ever before.

We are also planning on going to tthe studio this weekend to produce three more songs, which means im going to be pretty busy making music videos. I cant wait for our next project!!

TGIF

Thank God Its Friday!!!!

This weekend will mark another great weekend for my WISE project! I am going to work with Jake Miller in the advertising stage in getting the word out about his rapping ability and his music videos that I have produced. We have already been contacted by Power 96 and hopefully next week we will be having a meeting with the VP of Power 96 and bring Dreamin' to the radio.

We will also be planning out the next music video for his new song coming out by the end of next month. That will put three music videos on my demo-reel for college. Today I will be having my third Mentor Meeting with Mr. Nelson. Also, I hear back from University of Florida today so hopefully I get in. If i do, I will then have to choose between Florida State University and University of Florida. Go Gators? Go Seminoles?

Dreamin

Last night the Dreamin' music video debuted on YouTube with the power of Facebook and Twitter advertising its first hundred views. After a couple postings on people's "walls", the music video began to soar. Now people across the United States were listening and watching the music video I created. Not only was Jake Miller's name on the music video, so was mine. Noah Mindel will forever be on the biography on the video Dreamin'. I tried so hard on that video and my time and effort has paid off.

This morning, Jake's dad Bruce got a call that may change all of our lives. On the phone was the Vice President of the hip hop radio station Power 96. They are setting up a meeting next week to put Jake on the radio. This is the plus on having a music video, because without it Jake may not have been contacted by this station. Hopefully everything goes well and soon you will be hearing Jake on the radio and my Music Video advertised all over the internet.

The Day Has Come

For the past few weeks, me alongside Jake Miller have been working diligently on the music video for his new hit single, "Dreamin'". He has been working with a manager by the name of Fred Williams that has helped him develop his rap lines and helping me envision how the music video should look. Since he is not the best at Music Video shoots, he allowed me to take it up to myself to produce the music video for the song. Last night was the night to finish the entire thing. We worked very hard to edit, and get the video ready to upload on Youtube.

My first video I shot for him was called "The Take Over" and it has hit up to 5000 views. Hopefully this video will hit up to 10,000. He has been featured on different Hip-Hop music websites and my name will forever be on his music videos as the producer. This is going to be a fun WISE project doing the music videos and building my Demo-Reel for college.

Look for the Music Video "Dreamin'" by Jake Miller on YouTube tonight!

Good Evening

So after some long and hard thinking, I have decided to change my WISE Project. Instead of doing a story about Lacrosse and how the BCAA will not recognize it as a school sport, I have decided to go on the route less traveled by doing music videos. TV Production has always fascinated me and so has music. I have over 2400 songs in my iTunes database and I listen to music daily (as a matter of fact, I'm listening to music right now). Whether it is rap music, pop, or rock I enjoy the time in the day where I can isolate myself from the world with my music of choice.

I have decided to go into the Music Video project because for the past 3 months I have been working alongside an up-and-coming artist by the name of Jake Miller and bringing him into the music business. I have already made one music video for him, called "The Take Over" and I am currently making his next music video called "Dreamin'" which included all of our friends and will be having a release party on Wednesday. You can watch the first one click here -----> The Take Over .

Today we worked all day on it and it has been a masterpiece in the making. It may be one of the best video production things I have ever made.

New Week Coming Soon

Well it is the end of week two and my WISE project seems to be moving at a slower pace than assumed.
Im not sure why but it seems like I may have been putting working on it aside. I have been doing research on the sport of lacrosse and tv production, but for some reason it seems that I am not going anywhere with it. From what I have learned from TV production, it is that it takes a while for a story to develop. Next week, my goal is to find a story and start working ASAP because if I don't then I know I will get too far behind in WISE.

I have also thought of a different WISE project. Right now taking up most of my time is working alongside Jake Miller to produce his music and his music videos. This has been a passion of mine over the past few months and it has even gotten me a chance to put him on the news. So if I feel that working with Broward Teen News is not the right place for me, I will most likely switch my project.

Interview

Today is February 2,2011 (HAPPY GROUNDHOG DAY)
Today I interviewed Kurt Doster, the Cypress Bay Television Production Teacher and the CBTV Club advisor. We talked about how he got into the TV business and the show E:60. He also helped me focus on my WISE project which is the story on Lacrosse and the BCAA. He said that I needed to get interviews with multiple lacrosse players from not just Broward County but other counties to get perspectives on their own counties and if they have lacrosse as a school sport there.

I also did some research on the sport of lacrosse, and if you do not know what it is, it is a mix of soccer, hockey and football. If you are at all interested click this link ---> LACROSSE.
The sport of lacrosse is very interesting to me and I feel that since it has so much athleticism to it, it should be a sport in Broward County. I want to get to the bottom of this and figure out why it is not.

Signing out for Week 2 Day 3, I'm Noah Mindel W-I-S-E.

Journal 3

Good Afternoon im now sitting in my TV Production class getting work done that also helps me out with my WISE Project. Getting a little bit more familiar with the different cameras, gives me a deep advantage going into the BTN News room this upcoming week. Because i have a lot to do in this class, my BTN visit will not happen until the week of February 6th, but i have been in contact with the advisor Jeb Brunt, and i am always in contact with his close friend Kurt Doster who is also my TV Production Teacher.

I have narrowed down my choices for a story. One is finding a student that has done steroids and the affect it has had on them playing. Another story idea is the ruthlessness of the new innovative and upcoming sport in the world Lacrosse. "LAX" is not a very popular sport but it has become one over the past decade. I will want to dive into why the BCAA does not want it as a County Sport and how it has become so popular.

Today i had my first WISE mentor meeting with Assistant Principal Mr. Nelson and it went very well. My next step is going to add more to my noodletools and to have a good second week.

Signing out, Noah Mindel CBTV

1:00= Time To Go Home

Well when it was 1:00 today i decided to go home and get some work done there.
I went to the E:60 website and watched a couple videos to try and and generate some ideas, and a couple came to mind.
I feel a story about steroids in baseball would be a great story and i could try and find a student that has done or tried steroids and the impact it has had on their lives. Another idea is to find a sports phenom in South Florida that everyone should look out for. This is going to be a difficult task because i will have to be DEDICATED to this story, so it has to be one that i am enjoying. Hopefully one comes to mind by the end of this week. We will have to see.

First Day

The moment we have all been waiting for....
The time has come....
WISE is here and my life in Sports Broadcasting has begun.
The first day we learned about the organization and class in depth and it has excited me to no end. Three days before that i figured out exactly what I wanted to do with my WISE project. I am going to work with the local channel BECON and work tightly with the show called "Broward Teen News" and perfect a sports feature to the length of 10,11,12, or even 13 minutes. I was inspired to do this WISE project by watching a show called E:60 on ESPN. This show has inspired so much that each time i watch one of their segments, i feel the "goosebumps" rising because of the way they tell their story. When i get out of High school, i want to major in Sports Media and become a broadcaster on ESPN. I have tried my hardest over these past two years to work with CBTV and create my own sports feature, but nothing to the extent to which E:60 takes their stories. I have been taught how to create a perfect "surface" story, my goal is to conduct a perfect "IN DEPTH" story, and this program alongside Broward Teen News will help me with this. To watch some of the stories on E:60 and learn more about Broward Teen News log on to...
